Im really drawn to the simpicity and strangeness of my new creations. Im going to call this series... Darkness. A simple name for a simplistic style.
Im also am going to start selling ACEO's of some of my Work/Sculptures. Here is a peek at what Im talking about... one of my new creations.
I really enjoyed making this and Im going to create lots more :)

Yes it is a Ki-Rin, I have a little one too. I had a very cool thing happened 8 mo. ago...a customer told me about a big church rummage sale. I walked in and it was like a movie. I looked on a table cluttered with all sorts of things and there it was...the room shrank into the distance even the sound in my ears muted. Right in the middle of all that Kayos was a beautiful, mother Ki-Rin! (I have the baby which was $75.00 years ago. I looked around, no one seemed to see it...I walked over, picked it up! Not a scratch on it, new they cost anywhere from $275.00 to $375.00 I slowly turned her over and the piece of masking tape on the bottom had $10.00 written on it! Beads of sweat broke out on my forehead. I said to the little grandmotherly woman attending the table, "Is this correct?" she said, in a sweet little voice, "$10.00!" I gave her the money and I was gone like smoke! I'll post you a picture when I find it...They are good luck you know! Sorry that took so long, I got carried away!( I did feel a bit guilty, but I was still...gone like Smoke!!!)
Thanks Jacqui :) I have another in the works right now. Almost done :) I cant wait!
Two facts about them, if you see a ki-rin the year your child is born, the child it will have good fortune all it's life. And they are so kind hearted they won't even step on a blade of grass. Do you still have the carousel horse?
I love your new little creature! Can't wait to see more.
thanks Kristen :) They are super fun to make. Im on my second one now. Almost finished and should be able to show next week.
love, love, love the new creation and can't wait to see more - there's something so endearing about the little guy. makes me think of a worn out little poppet. :)
Thank you, I had so much fun making him. I want to keep him but he's spoken for :(
I love this sculpt! It's cute in a very dark way.
